At the end of a long days one of my favorite ways to unwind is to indulge in a long hot bath. Looking to upgrade your own washroom, here are some ideas on how to transform your bathroom into a luxurious bathroom.
SPACIOUS SHOWER
After returning from a chic boutique hotel without question the first thing I miss is the designer bathroom. For some a door less shower might seem strange, but would you honestly miss your musty moldy shower curtain? No, I didn’t think so! The examples below are sure to have you wanting to break free from the restricting long narrow or tiny builder shower for a more open shower area.
Normally couples look for two vanities, but why not remodel to include an extra spacious shower that could fit 2 to help in the morning rush? Personally I think the examples below look divine!
MERGE THE BATHROOM AND BEDROOM
A glass wall in the bathroom might seem frightening to most at first, but with the addition of a frosted wall or a curtain to add some privacy, I love how open the room feels. For smaller bedrooms and/or bathrooms it will help to have the rooms flow together. In my own cramped master bathroom the replacement of one wall for glass would mean I would be able to stare into my master suite instead of a wall at the end of the tub.
ADD A TOUCH OF NATURE
Think stone tiles or trendy hardwood or engineered wood floors in the bathroom. The addition of wood adds warmth to balance all the white and chrome; plus it will expand the room if you continue the wood floor from the bathroom to the bedroom. Or bring the rain indoors by installing a rain shower head. Unlike your typical shower head they spray water over a larger area, and are perfect for all the taller people in your household.
